Ninh Binh, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land,” is a beautiful region in northern Vietnam known for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and cultural significance. The tour covering Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, cycling, Bai Dinh, Trang An, and Mua Cave offers a diverse and immersive experience of this enchanting area.
Hoa Lu was the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. Here, you can explore historical temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le kings, learning about the region’s rich history and the dynasties that shaped Vietnam.
Often called the “Three Caves,” Tam Coc is known for its breathtaking scenery, featuring limestone karsts, lush rice paddies, and winding rivers. A boat ride along the Ngo Dong River takes you through these caves, offering a serene and picturesque experience. The boat trip is an excellent opportunity to witness local life and the natural beauty of the area.
Cycling through Ninh Binh’s countryside allows you to explore its hidden gems at your own pace. The flat terrain and scenic routes make it a pleasant experience, offering glimpses of rural life, traditional villages, and stunning landscapes.
Bai Dinh is one of the largest temple complexes in Vietnam and a significant Buddhist site. The pagoda is renowned for its grand architecture, numerous statues, and serene atmosphere. It’s a place of spiritual significance and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its majestic karst mountains, caves, and rivers. The boat tour through Trang An is a highlight, taking you through a network of caves and waterways, surrounded by verdant landscapes. It’s a tranquil and awe-inspiring experience.
Mua Cave offers one of the best views in Ninh Binh. After climbing nearly 500 steps to the top of Mua Mountain, you’re rewarded with a panoramic view of the Tam Coc area and its surrounding limestone peaks. The hike is steep but well worth the effort for the breathtaking scenery.
7h00: HOTEL PICK UP
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.
9h00: BUS JOURNEY & SHORT BREAK
Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
10h30: VISITING HOA LU ANCIENT CAPITAL
The first destination on this trip is to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed by the outstanding architecture when entering the temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel the ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital.
11h30: CYCLING AROUND THE VILLAGE
Continue the tour with 45 minutes of cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.
12h30: BUFFET LUNCH AT 5-STAR RESTAURANT
Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.
13h30 – 14h00: VISITING TAM COC
Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with the paddy field, river, water, clouds, sky, and stunning cave system. All make a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “Halong Bay on land”.
16h00: HOTEL DROP OFF
Get on the bus to go back to the Hotel. Check-in Hotel/ Bungalow in Tam Coc. Dinner is served at a Hotel or Restaurant nearby. Overnight at your Hotel.
Morning: Have breakfast at Hotel/ Bungalow then be ready for the trip.
9h30 – 9h45: HOTEL PICK UP
Get picked up by our driver and joining with our group.
10h30: VISITING BAI DINH PAGODA
Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the most famous & biggest Pagoda in the Southeast Asia with many records set such as 500 Stone – Arhat Statues, 36 ton – bronze Bell, 100 ton – Budhha Statue…
12h30: BUFFET LUNCH AT THE 5 STAR RESTAURANT
Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.
13h30 – 14h00: VISITING TRANG AN
Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version
of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as: Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.
16h00: VISITING MUA CAVE
Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave ). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Moutain, have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.
17h00 – 17h30: COME BACK TO OUR BUS
Get on the Bus to return to Hanoi.
19h30: HOTEL DROP OFF
Arrive to Hanoi and get drop off at the Hotel. The trip end!
