Sapa

Lao Chai

Lao Chai is a traditional Black Hmong village located in the Muong Hoa Valley. Ta Van

Ta Van is home to the Giay ethnic minority and is situated further along the Muong Hoa Valley. This village features traditional wooden houses on stilts and beautiful rice terraces. Cat Cat

Cat Cat is a quaint village located just a few kilometers from Sapa town. It is inhabited by the Black Hmong people and is known for its picturesque setting, with terraced fields, waterfalls, and traditional wooden houses. Sin Chai

Sin Chai is another Black Hmong village situated at the base of Fansipan Mountain, the highest peak in Vietnam. Bac Ha Market

Bac Ha Market is one of the most vibrant and colorful markets in northern Vietnam, held every Sunday in Bac Ha town. It is a bustling hub where various ethnic minorities, including the Flower Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Nung, gather to trade goods, livestock, and handicrafts. The market is a feast for the senses, with an array of fresh produce, textiles, and traditional crafts. Day 1: SAPA -Lao Chai - Ta Van

The bus arrives at the sapa city 6:00 am. Pick up and transfer to Golden villa sapa .
After breakfast we leave the hotel and start trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa
River and from here to the Black H'mong village Lao Chai. Black H'mong is one of the
biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. After this you continue to Ta Van village to
visit the Zay people. The Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor.
Have picnic lunch on the way then keep going to the bottom of Sapa valley. Car back to
Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa

Day 2: SAPA - Cat Cat - Sin Chai (B/L/D)

Have breakfast at your hotel. Trek around 10 km to visit two villages of the Black
H'mong (Catcat and SinChai). Visit the waterfall and hydroelectric power station
established by the French in CatCat village, nice landscapes of green forests and beautiful scenery along the way. Walk back to Sapa. Check out the hotel. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Afternoon, free to visit Sapa town, market, church and flower garden in Ham Rong mountain... Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Sapa - Bac Ha market - Lao Cai - Hanoi ( B/L/D)

At 7h30 AM checking out the hotel then take the minibus to go to Bac Ha (arrive at about 10.00AM). At the market day you have opportunities to meet local people from the remote villages in their traditional costumes. They are 4 different tribal groups Flower Hmong, Black Dao, Toy and Phi La, in the afternoon taking 2 hour walk to visit Ban Phi – A Flower Hmong village which is located in scenic valley. Then bus transfer back to Lao Cai railway station round 16h30 for the night train to Hanoi
